A graduate from Govt. Medical College (Thrissur), Dr. Eapen earned his post graduation (MD) degree from AIIMS (New Delhi). He subsequently acquired the requisite skills in ophthalmic care through the fellowship programme pursued at Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (Glasgow). His plethora of experience stems through past professional affiliations such as Aravind Eye Hospital (Madurai) and Lotus Eye Care Hospital (Coimbatore) where he served as a Chief Phaco surgeon at the latter mentioned centre.
Dr. Eapen has presented his papers on a national platform in conferences conducted by AIOS and TNOA. An Invited faculty at national conferences, Dr. Eapen has performed live surgery demonstrations as a part of surgical education.
